Question of the Day: How do we communicate?

Communication is the key to any relationship.  Since living full-time in an RV and traveling every few weeks, communication is an important aspect of our daily life.

Being on the road daily and missing our family and friends back home, we often always find a way to communicate to them.  Of course we have social media – We are on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

We also send postcards too.  Every stop we make, we find a postcard or two to send back home to let them know that we are alive and well.  We use these postcards to send a Birthday wish, get well card, or even to say Hello.  My sister-in-law has a large collection of these cards.  Amber even gets a card or two to send to her friends that she is missing back home.  If you want in on our postcard rotation, send us your address and we will get a card out to you.  Include you birthday (month and day).

Our last way we communicate it through YouTube.  Nope, Russ and Bobbi don’t have a channel but Amber does.  She loves vlogging and we really encourage her to keep up the good work.  She does her own editing and filming.  She uses her iPhone to do her interviews, location filming and time lapses. She tries to incorporate all aspects of the full-time lifestyle because we hear often that the biggest obstacle is teenager life while full-timing.  She does really well on depicting her life on the road.

She recently did her Sweet 16 Birthday vlog when we were in Alaska.  Take a look, write her a note or ask her a question.  She loves hearing from any one.
